Albert C. Schoenfeldt

Albert C. Schoenfeldt, “Shaney” age 87, of North Tonawanda on Thursday, January 5, 2012 after brief illness at Buffalo General Hospital. Shaney was the oldest living retired firefighter in North Tonawanda. He served 34 years with the North Tonawanda Fire Department. He was a 66 year member of the Sweeney Hose and a 59 year member of the Live Hose. Always active in his community, he was a member of Sikora Post and a former Director of the Third Warder’s Club. Shaney was an avid golfer and bowler. Shaney was a WWII U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. Son of the late LeVant and Myrtle (nee Lozo) Schoenfeldt.

Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Williams/Bolduc) of North Tonawanda. Step-father of Alan Bolduc of Florida, Carl (Patricia) Bolduc of South Carolina and the late Mark Bolduc. Father of Carol (the late Ronald) Szymanski, Jane (Ron) Roy, Kyle Schoenfeldt, Keith Schoenfeldt and the late Charlene Phillips.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday morning (January 7, 2012) at 11:00 at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda. The Rev. A.W. Moldenhauer will officiate.
