Alexander Scott Crowe,25,of Lancaster(formerly North Tonawanda) passed away on Friday, October 27,2023 Shortly after his victorious battle with a rare form of cancer(NUT carcinoma) he fell ill due to the effects of his aggressive treatment. He was a humorous, loving fiance, son, brother and friend to many. Alex is survived by his fiancé, Victoria Benton, His parents, Scott and Laura (nee Ledoux) Crowe. His siblings Alysia (Kate) Holtz, Zachary (Brianna) Crowe, Joshua Crowe, Samantha Crowe, Evelyn Crowe, Benjamin Crowe and Anthony Crowe. Alex is also survived by his nephews Anthony Crowe, Logan Crowe, Everest Holtz and his niece Dakota Alex Holtz. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Alex attended St. Amelia School and graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School, where he enjoyed playing volleyball. Alex enjoyed nature, along with going on hikes with his brothers. He was an incredible artist and enjoyed playing video games with his friends and family. Especially his nephew Anthony, who he created a Pokémon Game personally for. He enjoyed being a lector at St. Jude the Apostle Parish. He volunteered at Harvest House to help the community. Alex "Rang the Bell" on the previous Saturday at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and then continued planning his wedding with his fiancé. Alex will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends received by the family on Thursday November 2,2023 from 4 to 8 pm at The Brunner Funeral Home, located at 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on the morning of November 3rd,2023 at 9:30 am at St. Jude the Apostle Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
