Anne G. Tomm

Anne G. Tomm, (nee Gane) 96, of Tonawanda died at North Gate Manor Nursing Home on Sunday (October 26, 2008) after a long illness. Anne was a former resident of Tonawanda Manor and Clinton Street in Tonawanda. She was member of Grace Lutheran Church. Anne was a Professional Florist and was the owner of the former Tomm’s Florial Shop on Webster Street in North Tonawanda. Anne was a gifted artist in her trade. She worked with ceramics, rug braiding and furniture refinishing.

She is the wife of the late LaVern Tomm and mother of the late Jack Tomm. Dear sister of the late Jenny Luberti, Catherine Grear, Elizabeth Bartholomew, Mary Gane, Donald Gane and Mae Camarre. Loving sister of Peter A. Gane of Palm Springs, CA. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Friends received by the family on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda where services will be held on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m., The Rev. Janice Griffiths, officiating. Interment. at Acacia Park Cemetery will be private.
