Brian R. Briggs

Brian R. Briggs, age 73 of North Tonawanda after a brief illness on Thursday (July 25, 2013). Brian was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Brian was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in Korea. He was a Life Member and Past Commander of Sikora Post #1322. Brian was a former Niagara County Commander of the American Legion. He enjoyed golf and was a current employee of Niagara County Golf Course. He retired from Durez Plastics. Son of the late Jack and Marie Briggs and grandfather of the late Kiran Ramanathan.
Beloved husband of Peggy (nee Jackson) Briggs of North Tonawanda. Loving father of Steven (Jennifer O’Leary) Briggs of Amherst and Patricia (Sekhar Ramanathan) Briggs of Vermont. Proud Papa of Ravi. Brother of Barbara (the late Don) Kinzly. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends received by the family on Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday morning at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Czestochowa. (Please Assemble at the Church). Interment, with Military Honors will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery.
