Carmello M. Divencenzo

Carmella DiVincenzo, age 70, of North Tonawanda on Monday (January 6, 2014) at Sheridan Manor, after an extended illness. She was a member of the former Ascension R.C. Church and presently a member of St. Francis of Assisi. Carmella had worked at R.T. Jones Lumber Co., where she was an active member of the union. Her family remembers her as cookie-baker extraordinaire, the family jokester, and caregiver for one and all. Carmella’s loving and generous heart will be greatly missed.
Daughter of the late Rose and Fiorvante “Floyd” DiVincenzo, and sister of the late Nicolo, Louise, Mary and Joseph DiVincenzo. Dearly loved sister-in-law of Christine DiVincenzo and Patricia (DiVincenzo) Falzone, and aunt of Mark (Lori) Fedyk, Kimberly DiVincenzo, Lisa (Shawn) Flynn and Joseph DiVincenzo. Also survived by close cousins Anthony (Ann) DiVincenzo, Paul DiVincenzo, Mary Jo (Eli) Sobus, and many other cousins.
Friends received by the family on Thursday 5-7 PM, with services immediately to follow at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda. Interment will be private.
