Carol D. Johnson

Carol Dee Johnson, age 88, of Clarence and formerly of North Tonawanda, at Millard Fillmore Gates Hospital on Sunday (December 4, 2011). Carol was a member of the Brothers of Mercy Chapel. She was formerly a member of Ascension R.C. Church. Carol was a former member of the DeGraff Memorial Hospital Board of Directors and the Auxiliary. She served her community working with the United Way of the Tonawandas, Catholic Charities, The Zonta Club of the Tonawandas and worked as an assistant to Mayor Betty Hoffman. Wife of the late Robert W. Johnson, DDS.

Hahn of Buffalo, Debra K. Valenti of North Tonawanda, Richard A. (Eileen P.) Johnson of Snyder. Sister-in-law of Wilma (the late Edward O.) Dee of Florida. Loving aunt of Michael E. (Shelly) Dee of Singapore. Proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Friends received by the family on Friday 2-6 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson St. in North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 at Our Lady of Czestochowa, Oliver and Center Streets in North Tonawanda
