Cecilia A. Vardalas

Cecilia Antonia Vardalas, age 64, of North Tonawanda and formerly of Canajoharie, NY on Monday (November 21, 2011) at home surrounded by her family. Cecilia was a believer in Jesus and loving mother and grandmother. She was a woman who deeply felt for mankind and could be found at Homeless Shelters and always helping people in need. She enjoyed writing, poetry, music and photography. Daughter of the late Gwendolyn and Nicholas Vardalas.

Beloved mother of Gabriel (Jessica) Kemna of Ilion, NY, Nadine (Charles) Yager of Lake Havasu, AZ and Thomas (Gina) Kemna of North Tonawanda. Dear sister of Gwendolyn Plescia of Naples, FL and Joseph Plescia. Grandmother of Emmanuel, Lazarius, Nola, Olivia and Augustus.

Friends received by the family on Tuesday 6-8 P.M.at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda. Interment will be Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. (November 23, 2011) at Canajoharie Falls Cemetery, Canajoharie, NY. Friends invited. Memorials may be made to the City Mission or the homeless shelter of your choice.
