Clarissa A. Wokersien

Clarissa A. Wokersien, “Claire” (nee Glaeser) 55, of North Tonawanda was called home on Thursday, October 18, 2012 after a brave and hard fought battle with cancer. Claire was a member of St. Christopher’s R.C. Church where she taught religious education. She was an accountant for Smith Boys Marine in North Tonawanda. Claire was known for her sense of humor and vibrant personality. She always loved a good joke or had one to tell. She loved and enjoyed her family and her dogs and cats. Daughter of the late William Glaeser.
Beloved daughter of Frances Glaeser of North Tonawanda. Former wife and dearest friend of James Wokersien. Loving mother of Carla (Joseph) Reeves, Marisa Wokersien and Jason Wokersien all of North Tonawanda. Dear sister of Susan (Lee) Stoney, Sharon (Edward) Balling, Christine (Michael) Greene, Martin Glaeser. Beloved aunt of Michael Balling. Friends received by the family on Sunday, October 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Christopher R.C. Church at 9:30 A.M. on Monday morning. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
