David J. Garner

David James Garner, age 72, suddenly, of Amherst, on Sunday (January 8, 2012). David retired from Westinghouse in Pittsburgh in 2002 and then worked at the Tan Tara Golf Club. He was a member of the Deerwood Men’s Golf Club, the Pendleton Lions Club and the Third Warders Club. Husband of the late Patricia (nee Snyder) Garner and father of the late James W. Garner.

Loving father of Corinne (Chad) Garner, David (Annie) Garner and Sandra Garner. Proud grandfather of Nicole Burger and Shelley Peterson, Matthew, Mitchell, Lucas and Jacob Garner. Great-grandfather of Samantha and Jonathon Burger. Dear brother of Jean (Daniel) Wendt, Patricia (the late Thomas) Fulton and Cherrie Cassaro. Dear friend of Janet Wendt.

Friends received by the family on Wednesday, 4-8 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda. Services will be on Thursday morning at 10:00 at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Pendleton Lions Club or People, Inc.
