Donald A. Harms

Donald A. Harms, age 83 of Tonawanda on Friday, August 30, 2013 after a long illness. Don was a member of the former Ascension R.C. Church and presently St. Francis R.C. Church.
Loving husband for 63 years of Rosemary (nee Brenon) Harms. Cherished father of Ronald (Diane) Harms of North Tonawanda, Kenneth(Shirley) Harms of South Carolina, Sandra (David) Penberthy of North Tonawanda, Janet (Jeffrey) Sylvester of Tonawanda. Father of the late Karen Harms. Proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends received by the family on Monday from 4-7 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. Family and friends will share memories at 7:00, Monday evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday Morning at St. Francis Chapel, 73 Adam St. in Tonawanda at 10:00 AM.
Known as “Thumper” to his friends, he was an avid motorcyclist and NASCAR fan.
