Donna M. Dawes

Donna M. (Hertel) Dawes 74 of Pendleton NY entered into rest on July 20, 2015 in Buffalo General Hospital. Wife of Peter A. Dawes. She was born on January 22, 1941 in Buffalo, NY to the late Edward and Marie Hertel. Donna was a retired accountant for Citi Corp. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Donna was an avid card player and was the treasurer of the social club at Westwind in Dunedin, FL where her and Peter spent their winters.
Besides her husband Peter she is survived by her daughters Patricia (James) Dawes-Doohan and Debroah (Joseph) Wachowicz; grandchildren Ryan and Kristen Doohan, Victoria, Samantha and Joseph Jr. Wachowicz; a brother Edward (Carol) Hertel.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 at the BRUNNER FUNERAL HOME 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda, NY 14120. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10am in St. Jude the Apostle Roman Catholic Church 800 Niagara Falls BLVD, North Tonawanda, NY 14120. Burial will be private in Mount. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to the America Diabetes Association.
