Doris K. O’Connor, (nee Schul) of North Tonawanda died at home on Sunday (September 4, 2011). Doris was a member of Payne Avenue Christian Church. She is the wife of the late John M. O’Connor. Loving mother of Caren M. Woods of Amherst. Proud grandmother of Tammy M. (Shawn) Wolcott, Roy V. (Jennifer) Woods and Connie D. (Scott) Norcutt. Great-grandmother of Michael, Christopher, Cara, Alicia, Alex, Kayleen, Bethany and Jeffrey. Sister of Ruth Reedy and Anita Ward and the late Gordon, Raymond and Paul Schul and Esther Shepherd and Miriam Bower. Friends received by the family on Wednesday (September 7) from 4-8 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda, NY 14120. Funeral services will be on Thursday morning at 11:00 A.M. at Amherst Alliance Church, 3915 Millersport Highway, Amherst, NY 14228. Interment will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery.
