Dr. Brunilde Matuszak, O.D.

Dr. Brunilde Matuszak, O.D. , (nee Tassone) age 44 of North Tonawanda died on October 4, 2021 after a long illness. Wife of Dr. Brian Matuszak, O.D., Loving mother of Christopher Matuszak. Dear daughter of Tina Tassone and the late Raffaele Tassone. Sister of Dr. B. G. Tassone (Dr. Isabel Cranz) and Alfredo Tassone.

Friends received by the family on Monday October 11, 2021, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00 from St. Jude the Apostle Parish. Interment will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery.

Brunilde was a graduate of the University of Toronto receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. Brunilde and her husband own Wheatfield Eye Care. Brunilde was a compassionate caregiver who treated her patients as family.

Flowers Declined. Brunilde was an animal lover and in her memory, memorials may be made to Niagara County S.P.C.A.
