Eleanor D. Jones

Eleanor D. Jones (nee Knast), “Momma Jones” age 77, of North Tonawanda, formerly of Buffalo’s Southampton Street died at Niagara Hospice in Lockport after an extended illness. Eleanor worked for several restaurants in the Buffalo area and the Quality Supermarket chain as a Hostess. Wife of the late Booker T. Jones who predeceased her in 1989.

Beloved mother of Thomas A. (Serena) Jones of North Tonawanda. Proud grandmother of Shawnniqua “NeeNee” and Shauntrice “TeeTee” and great grandmother of Tair’e. Sister of Lenny (Kay) Knast of Nevada. Loving Aunt of Donna Stonish and Rose Lynch and Great Aunt of KeShawn.

The family asks that you join them to celebrate Eleanor’s life on Friday July 22, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda. Please bring a good story about Momma Jones.
