Florence E. Dumbrosky

Florence E. Dumbrosky (nee Stanley), Age 80, of North Tonawanda on Saturday (January 24, 2009) at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Florence worked for Buffalo General Hospital in the sandwich shop as a waitress. She previously worked for Your Host, Watson, Jim’s Truck Stop and several other area restaurants. She loved country western music and police shows on television. She was known as the “Cookie Lady” by the North Tonawanda Police Department because she would bring them cookies all the time. Daughter of the late August and Laura Stanley and sister of the late Beatrice Baker and Ray Stanley. Beloved mother of John J.(Carol) Dumbrosky of North Tonawanda. Proud grandmother of Reanna (Matt) Darone and Joshua Dumbrosky all of North Tonawanda. Great-grandmother of Jackson Dumbrosky. Dear friend of Audry Davis.

Friends received by the family on Tuesday 6-9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda where services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.
