Francis J. Popper “Bud”, age 91, at Northgate Manor, after a brief illness. Bud was the owner of P & R Wire Forming Co., Inc. in Buffalo. His company made fan guards for Buffalo Forge. He also made ice cream chairs and some of the finest wine racks which were distributed nationally through Hodge Liquors. Bud was a WWII U.S. Coast Guard Veteran. Son of the late Frank and Rose (nee Haller) Popper. Husband of the late Violet L. (nee Oliver) Popper.
Loving father of Rose Marie J. Popper (Guy M. Miller). Dear brother of the late Genevieve (Edward) Van Knapp. Uncle of Edward Van Knapp, David Van Knapp, Patti McGann and Karen D’Aprix.
Friends received on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Tuesday 10-11 A.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda where services will follow at 11:00 AM. Entombment at Resurrection Mausoleum, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
