Gertrude E. Harriger

Gertrude Esther Harriger, (nee Craig) 87 of North Tonawanda died on Friday December 31, 2021. Wife of the late William “Bill” Harriger. Loving mother of Stephen (Diane) Harriger, Lori King and the late Vicki Carlson. Proud Grandmother of Amie Vrba, Corey Harriger, Amanda Corbett, Christopher DePorter, Ashley King and the late Micheal King and Brandon Harriger. Great Grandmother of Jacob, Savannah, Hailie, Michael, Ayden, Carter, Camden. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Life-long friends of Beverly Caroll and Betty Tower, and her fur baby, Pebbles.

Friends received by the family 4-7 P.M on Thursday January 6th, 2022 at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda where services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery will be private.

Esther was a member of the Salvation Army in Tonawanda. She retired from SUNY Buffalo where she worked as a Lab Technician. She loved gardening or telling you how to garden. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Patricia Allen, c/o Oishei Childrens Hospital, Buffalo, NY.
