Gwendolyn McCallum

Gwendolyn McCallum, (nee Miller) 89, on September 22, 2023.  Wife of the late David McCallum.   Loving mother of Neil (Endang) McCallum, Maureen (Walter Bird) McCallum and the late Barry McCallum.  Proud grandmother of James (Kristin) Kager, Michael McCallum,  Katherine McCallum, and Chuqing Zhu.   Great-grandmother of Ryan and Grayson Kager. 

Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at St. Jude the Apostle Parish,  800 Niagara Falls Blvd, North Tonawanda.

Gwendolyn graduated from nursing school in Halifax, N.S. and worked at Childrens Hospital, the Veterans Hospital of Buffalo and then retired from Industrial Nursing at M &T Bank.  She and her husband were Travel Trailer Snow Birds in the Winter and summers in Quebec.  She was a professional Clown with Buffalo Clown Alley and she thoroughly enjoyed entertaining children.  They were members of Lake Erie Road Runners and enjoyed weekend camping trips with their friends.  Gwen was involved with both St. Albert and St. Jude Parish.  She sang in the choir, was a member of the Rosary Guild and was at church every morning.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
