Helen T. Pawelczak

Helen Theresa Pawelczak (Laskowski), age 78, of North Tonawanda, on Saturday (April 9, 2011) died at Niagara Hospice, with her family present. Helen was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Before starting her family, she worked at Moore Business Forms in Niagara Falls. While raising her three children, she also worked at The Sample Shop in North Tonawanda. Helen was devoted to her husband, children, her faith and her church. Wife of the late Joseph S. Pawelczak, who predeceased her in 1997. Sister of the late Sophie (Alex) Bailey, Edward (Helen) Laskowski, Loretta (Edward “Jack”) Litwinski, Walter (Vicki) Laskowski and John Lasky. Sister-in-law of the late John “Chuck” Pawelczak. Sister-in-law of the late Donna Pawelczak Doyle.

Beloved mother of Diane (Patrick) Brennan of Honeybrook, PA, David Pawelczak of San Jose, CA, Susan (Paul) Mathews of North Tonawanda. Proud grandmother of Bridget and Johathan Brennan. Sister of Chester (the late Edith) Laskowski and Anthony (Helen) Laskowski. Sister-in-law of Alfreda “Freda” Lasky and Raymond (Doris) Pawelczak. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends received by the family on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda, where prayers will be said on Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc.
