Howard N. Krantz

Howard N. Krantz, 90, of North Tonawanda on Thursday (October 30, 2008) died at Crestwood Health Care Facility. Howard was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Church and the Madonna Council Knights of Columbus #2535. He worked at the Tonawanda Iron Works and the Georgian Bay Lumber Company where he was an accountant. As a U.S. Army Veteran, he served in WWII in Okinowa. Husband of the late Clara (nee Weber) Krantz and father of the late Douglas H. Krantz. Brother of the late Robert Krantz.

Loving father of Paula (James) Caterina of Warren, OR, Mary (Daniel) Freeman and Patricia (Timothy) McGee both of North Tonawanda. Proud grandfather of Gregory, Timothy, Patrick, Benjamin, Kevin, Amy, Jennifer, Andrew, Adam and Kathryn. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends received by the family on Sunday 4-8 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda where services will be held on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd. North Tonawanda.
