James Wood

James A. Wood, age 77 of Williamsville and Steamburg, NY on Saturday December 17, 2011 in Steamburg surrounded by his loving family.

Loving husband for 57 years of Dorothy M. Wood (Nee Attea). Father of James Jr., Deborah (Bernard) Cragg, Beverly Schultz, Laurie (Donald) Yavicoli, Mike, Sharon (Thomas) Lamb, Harold (Lorrie), Raymond (Diana), John (Deborah), Steven (Karen) Wood. Brother of Jeanette Mahoney and Edward J. Wood. Son of the late Harold and Estella Wood and brother of the late Donald, Audrey Daniels, Barbara Morrissey and Karen Wood. Surviving are 34 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

James was a Korean Era U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked as a Salesman for M. Attea and Brothers for over 40 years. He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman.

Friends received on Tuesday 7-9 and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Schlager-Divito Funeral Home, Inc, 4614 Main Street, Snyder, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 A.M. at the SS Peter and Paul Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville, NY. Please assemble at the church. Flowers gratefully declined.
