John M. Wilczak, “Jasiu” age 88, a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda died on Wednesday morning, November 21, 2012 under the care of Niagara Hospice House, Inc. Jasiu was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. He retired from Roblin Steel when it closed. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran serving in the Pacific. Husband of the late Joy (nee Taylor) Wilczak, a beloved grandson, Adam. Brother of the late Edward Krzemien, Joseph Wilczak, Helen Topolski, Ann Fire and Mary Cherry.
Survived by a devoted wife of 41years, Lorraine (nee Stachowiak-O’Brien) Wilczak of North Tonawanda. Loving father of Cheryl (John) Fischer, Holly (Jerry) Truszkowski, Step-father of Kenneth (Deborah) O’Brien, Kevin (Sue) O’Brien, Kerry O’Brien, Kim (Mark) Cooper, Kellie O’Brien and Kristie O’Brien. Brother of Lottie Griffits and Fran (Lou) Boughton. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
No Prior Visitation. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Mass at 9:30 Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
