John R. Chank

John R. Chank, 51, of Cartersville, GA, previously of No. Tonawanda passed away peacefully on May 13, 2018 surrounded by his family. Son of Ernest T. (the late Ninette T) (Suzann C.) Chank. Brother of Suzanne (Christopher) Needler, Michelle (John) Laganiak. Uncle of Ninette Needler, Kaitlyn (Fiance Mrudul Desai) Laganiak. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Friends received by the family on Monday June 18 from 4-6:30 at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., No. Tonawanda where a memorial service will start at 6:30 pm. The Rev. Emily Ebert, officiating.

John moved to Cartersville, GA, eleven years ago and was employed by Shaw Industrial Group. He was a friend of Bill W. for 17 years and helped many people along his way. John was a loving and generous person; he will be sadly missed. His deep faith carried him through his battle with cancer. The family requests memorials be made to the Hospice of your choice or the Niagara County SPCA.
