Josephine M. Koufonikos

Josephine Koufonikos, age 75, of North Tonawanda on Wednesday (October 6, 2010) at home . Born and raised in North Tonawanda, Josephine was a member of St. George Orthodox Church. She recently retired from the Board of Education where she was a School Bus Driver for twenty years. She and her husband owned and operated Gus & Jo’s Our Inn. Mother of the late Deborah Bemisderfer (Kurt).

Beloved wife of Gus Koufonikos. Loving mother of Gus “Dino” (Teresa) Koufonikos, Jr. Proud grandmother of Michael and Sarah Koufonikos and Thomas and Kayleigh Bemisderfer. Sister of Dorothy Banks. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends received by the family on Friday 2- 4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) , 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda. Funeral Services will be services will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 A.M. at St. George Antiochian Church, 1073 Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc.
