Julia Komives

Julia Komives (nee Mihalik) age 91, of North Tonawanda on Monday, July 05, 2010 at Elderwood at Crestwood after brief illness. Julia was a member of Ascension R.C. Church. She worked for many years at DeGraff Hospital in the House Keeping Department retiring in 1985. She was an avid gardner and she loved her cat, Sneakers. Wife of the late Louis Komives. Sister of the late Barbara Jehrio, Rose Reifel, Stella Hoysic and Michael Mihalik.

Beloved mother of Kathleen (Dennis) Adowski of North Tonawanda and proud and loving grandmother of Timothy Adowski. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends received by the family on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) , 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda. (There will be no visitation on Thursday) A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday morning at 10:00 at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd. North Tonawanda. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
