Kenneth K. Denson, 86, of Lancaster, formerly of North Tonawanda died suddenly in Mulberry, Florida on December 5, 2010. Kenneth was an Engineer who retired from Sierra Research in 1987. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran who served in the Pacific as a Radio Operator. Ken loved to play golf both here and in Florida. Husband of the late Mildred (nee Ardire) and predeceased by seven siblings all from Rocky Mount, NC.
Dear husband of Oleta Denson of Lancaster and Mulberry, FL. Loving father of Nancy (Hal) Lane of Buffalo, Beverly (Gary) Wesolowski of North Tonawanda and William (Kathleen) Denson of Big Flats, NY. Step-father of William (Karen) Needham, Donald (Robin) Needham, LuAnn (Dennis) Zurek and Sandy (the late Thomas) Needham. Proud grandfather of seven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, and two step-great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received by the family on Sunday September 19, 2010 from 10:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. A celebration of Ken’s life with Military Honors, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Interment at Acacia Park, will be private.
