Poleon, Marcia J. (nee Miner)

Died February 19, 2025, age 84, of Getzville, NY. Beloved wife of 56 years of Gerald J. Poleon, loving mother of Dr. Kathleen E. Poleon (Dr. Thomas Miller), Brian G. Poleon, Norris M. (Kate) Poleon, and predeceased by baby son, Bruce Gerald Poleon. Cherished Nanie of seven grandchildren, Tyler, Avery and Kylie Miller, Blake Poleon and Benjamin, Maylee and Emma Poleon; loving daughter of the late Dr. G. Norris and Margarita (Leonhardt) Miner; dear sister of the late Bruce (Sandra) Miner, the late George (Audrey) Miner and Gail Easley. Survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Poleon was a lifetime member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in North Tonawanda. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Mark’s at 11am on March 8th. Interment will be at Acacia Park Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
