Martha Piwtorak

Martha F. Piwtorak (nee Abraham) 85, of North Tonawanda on her birthday, February 14, 2014 after a brief illness. Martha was a former member of Ascension R.C. Church. She was very active in her community. Her memberships include Charter Member of Active Hose #2, the Syrian-Lebanese Club and North Tonawanda Sr. Citizens. Martha retired from Don Davis Pontiac where she worked for over 35 years. Wife of the late Nicholas Piwtorak and daughter of the late George and Ruth Abraham.
Loving mother of Kathleen (Dwight) Allison, David (Pamela Jo) Piwtorak, Michael (Terri) Piwtorak, Gary (Cathy) Piwtorak and Ronald (Barbara) Piwtorak. Dear sister of Mary Priano, Betty (William) Devlin and George (Tita) Abraham, Jr. Proud grandmother of eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Irene Piwtorak. Also survived by many +- nieces and nepews.
Friends received by the family on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to the Active Hose #2 Fire Hall Building Fund, P.O. Box 1225, North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
