Paula P. Tomasini

Paula P. Tomasini (nee Prieto) 89, of North Tonawanda on Friday June 26, 2015 after a long illness. Paula was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Parish and formerly at Ascension R.C. Church. She was a member of the Renaissance Club, The Spanish Club and Founding member of Sweeney Hose Woman’s Auxiliary. Daughter of the late Andres and Rena Prieto and sister of the late Andrew Prieto.
Loving wife for 69 years of Richard Tomasini, Sr. Beloved mother of Richard (Judy) Tomasini, Jr., of Tonawanda, Patricia (Richard) Gerou of Gasport, Robert (Susan) Tomasini of North Tonawanda. Dear sister of Augustina (the late Gerald) Downs and sister-in-law of Rose (the late Richard) Abraham. Special cousin of Norma Aracne and Sarah (the late Ernest) Tomasini. Proud grandmother of Brandy Schabio, Michelle (Michael) Swenson, Richard Gerou, Courtney Gerou and Alicen Wahl. Great-grandmother of nine and also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends received by the family on Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday morning at 10:00 at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
