Providencio Garcia Lugo

Providencio G. Lugo “Lee” 80, of North Tonawanda on Tuesday September 8, 2009 after a brief illness. Lee was a member of Ascension R.C. Church. He retired from Penn Central Railroad and then Conrail. He loved people, never complained and always had a smile on his face. Father of the late Cheryl L. Lockardt. Husband of Diane Garcia. Loving father of Denise M. (Alex) Vogt, Ramona P. Garcia and Susan N. Garcia. Dear brother of Phillip (Maria) Garcia of North Tonawanda, Antonio (Melba) Garcia, Maria Luisa (Domingo) Ramos, Angle Garcia all of Miami, FL and Gela Navarro of Orlando, FL. Proud grandfather of Rose, Tonya, Angela, Melanie, Joshua, Angelina, Justin, Stephanie, Samantha and Kyle. Also surviving are many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Friends received by the family on Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday morning at 10:00 A.M. at St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd., N. Tonawanda. Interment will follow at White Chapel Cemetery. The family asks that memorials be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc.
