Rose Divincenzo

Rose DiVincenzo, age 90, of North Tonawanda, on Tuesday (November 15, 2011) after a brief illness. Born in Italy, Rose was a member of the former Ascension R.C. Church and presently a member of St. Francis of Assisi. She retired from DeGraff Memorial Hospital where she worked for many years. Her family remembers her as a feisty, spunky and joyful woman who always had a story to tell.

Sister of the late Angelo, Joseph, Anthony, Fiorvante “Floyd” and Frank DiVincenzo. Beloved Aunt of Carmella DiVincenzo, Anthony (Ann) DiVincenzo, Paul DiVincenzo, Nicholas DiVincenzo, Concettina DiVincenzo and Mary Jo (Eli) Sobus. Great Aunt of Mark (Lori) Fedyk, Kimberly DiVincenzo, Lisa (Shawn) Flynn, Joseph DiVincenzo and Francesca DiVincenzo. Also survived by several other great nieces and nephews.

Friends received by the family on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday morning at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, 114 Broad St., Tonawanda at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her honor to St. Francis R.C. Church School.
