Ruth Shaffer

Ruth Evelyn Shaffer, (nee Johnston) age 90, of Buffalo and North Tonawanda died on Thursday (September 22, 2011) at the Northgate Manor. Wife of James Shaffer (deceased) and beloved mother of Judith (Richard) Wooley of Pasadena, TX; James (Bonnee) Shaffer and Lynn (Joseph) Ewing all of North Tonawanda. Proud grandmother of Shelly (Eric) Forkel, Gregory Shaffer and Kimberly Ewing. Great-grandmother of Tyler, Brandon, Jillian, and James. The family requests that memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc. A celebration of Ruth's life will be held at a future date.
