Sandra R. Hertel

Sandra R. Hertel, 62 of Buffalo. Suddenly on December 27, 2017. Beloved daughter of George H. Hertel (the late Regina C. Connolly). Loving sister of Donald G. Hertel, Barbara E. Hertel and Joanne S. (Kenneth) Cramer and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by her loving French Bulldog Bizzy.

Friends received on Tuesday January 2, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery is private.

Sandra owned the Elmwood Village Fabrics on Franklin St., in Buffalo. She was a member of the Elmwood Village Association, the Fargo Estate Neighborhood Association, Prospect Hill Historic District, the Neighborhood Festival of Lights and many other civic organizations. Sandra was an teacher and instructor in Fabric Design formerly at Buffalo State and also in her Fabric Business. Memorials may be made to the Erie County S.P.C.A. or the Alzheimers Association.
