Thomas R. Johnson

Thomas R. Johnson, age 63, of North Tonawanda on December 7, 2014 at the Veterans Hospital in Buffalo. Tom was a retired U.S. Army Veteran who spent 20 years on active service and several years in the Army Reserves. He was a member of Sikora Post #1322 American Legion where he was a Past Commander. Tom was also a former Great Lakes Merchant Mariner. Son of the late Otis Johnson.
Beloved son of Ruth (nee Ring) Johnson of Mountain View, Missouri. Beloved father of Nicholas M. (Betsy) Johnson of North Tonawanda and Cassandra B. Johnson (Thomas Storm) of North Tonawanda. Proud grandfather of Madelyn E. Johnson. Brother of Richard Johnson Mulberry, FL. Uncle of Jeffrey Johnson.
Friends received by the family on Friday 5-8 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda where services will be held at 8:00 P.M. followed by Military Honors.
