William H. Harriger

William H. Harriger, age 74, of Tonawanda at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital on Friday, July 3, 2009 after a long illness. Bill retired from R.N.D. Machine in Buffalo. He was an avid artist who was into all forms of art. Son of the late Clair and Edith (nee Drohn) Harriger. Brother of the late Mary Lou Catlin and grandfather of the late Michael Phillip King. Loving husband of 55 years to G. Esther Harriger (nee Craig) of Tonawanda. Beloved father of Stephen (Diane) Harriger and Vicki Carlson both of Tonawanda and Lori King (Randy) of North Tonawanda. Brother of Timothy Harriger. Proud grandfather of Amie (Will) Witkopf, Corey (Brigitte) Harriger, Amanda (Steve) Corbett, Christopher Gramlich, Brandon Harriger and Ashley King. Great Grandfather of Brittnie, Kayla, Jacob, Savannah and Hailie. Great-great-grandfather of Braydin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends received by the family on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home, (692-3841), 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda. Private interment services will be held at Acacia Park Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Lung Association in William’s name.
